You’ll begin by getting an introduction to the fairy tale, and guidance through writing exercises, to settle on the story you want to explore.

2 The Heart of the Story
Once you have your story in hand, you’ll be invited to enter that other world with your imagination and find out how you are connected to a central scene in your story.

3 Mapping Your Story
Now you’ll step out of your story and get a wide angle view of it by mapping the terrain. Where does it begin, and where does it take your protagonist?

4 Cast of Characters
We’ll return to the ground and start meeting some of the characters who inhabit the animate world of your fairy tale—human and non-human.

5 Gateway to Adventure
In this short chapter you’ll be able to decide if you want to undertake the adventure ahead. We’ll reflect on the healing power of fairy tales, and you can decide if you are ready and willing to move more deeply into your story.

1 The Home State
We’ll start the adventure by going to your protagonist’s roots. What is the Home State like, and what is familiar about it?

2 Changes
Now we’ll explore the changes in the Home State that get the adventure rolling.

3 Threshold
We’ll find the threshold of adventure in your fairy tale and discover how your protagonist makes this powerful crossing.

4 Labors of Love
We’ll look at the particular labor or test in your story and see how it translates to life.

5 Allies
Who are the allies who come along to help your protagonist do impossible tasks? We’ll meet them!

6 Transformation
We’ll go to the major crisis in your story and explore the transformation that happens there.

7 Overthrow
We’ll find the threshold of adventure in your fairy tale and discover how your protagonist makes this powerful crossing.


8 Liberation
Finally, we’ll look at who benefits from liberation in your story, (including you!) and we’ll end with a look at the unreconciled questions that still remain.
Summary

Summary
We’ll go back and look at the story of your protagonist and consider how the fairy tale has moved you — where you were when you began and where you are now. Then you’ll receive your certificate of completion and a special video from the author of WonderLit.
