The youngest son of the king has a good heart, and I am helping him, but he won’t follow my instructions.
He would not put the golden bird in a common cage. He would not put a common saddle on a golden horse, and he completely ignored my warning not to allow the princess to say goodbye to her parents.
What he needs to do now is chop off my head. It’s the only way to break the spell, but he won’t do it. He won’t follow my parting advice, either, so there’s more misery to come for both of us!
