Little men have quick wits and we giants are dim-sighted. All me and my two brothers knew is that we had inherited a sword that cuts off many heads at once, a cloak that makes a person invisible, and a pair of boots that will transport a person anywhere he wants to go. We didn’t know how to divide those things between us. We all wanted everything, and we couldn’t figure out how to divide everything into three.
When we saw a little man passing by, we called him over to figure it out. He took the sword, the cloak, and the boots. Then he made himself invisible and vanished. That solved the problem. He divided us from everything.
