The emperor is looking at himself and saying, “Oh, how beautifully the clothes fit! What material! What color! What a gorgeous suit!”
I take it he means his birthday suit, because he isn’t wearing a stitch!
He takes one last look at me as if he wants me to speak. I am speaking loud and clear! But he is convinced that he is wearing something very fine, so off he goes with his chamberlains who are holding his invisible train.
What will the people see, I wonder? What the Emperor wants them to see? Or what is nakedly obvious?
