Child Left to the Wolves

My sister went into the woods and she never came back. Something must have eaten her. Where am I going to get more food? I’ve eaten all the nuts I can find in the forest, and the snow is coming. I’m so cold.

I’ve been listening to the wolves howl, and I’m howling with them. Friend wolf, I will follow you. I will follow you until you give me something to eat. I will run beside you. I will become like you, friend wolf. I will become you!
